Our Beliefs

The Scriptures

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and our infallible guide in all matters of conduct and doctrine (II Timothy 3:16; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:21).

The Godhead

There is one God, Creator of all, manifested as Father (Creator), Son (Redeemer), and Holy Spirit (Indwelling Spirit). Jesus is the Son of God and Creator of all things. The Holy Spirit is the indwelling presence of God in believers (Romans 8:11; John 1:3; Matthew 1:23).

Salvation

All have sinned and fall short of God's glory. Jesus Christ gave His life to redeem humanity. Salvation is God's gift through grace and faith in Christ, not by works (Romans 3:23; Galatians 3:13–14; Ephesians 2:8).

New Birth

Godly repentance leads to salvation. The new birth is necessary for eternal life (II Corinthians 7:10; John 3:3–5).

Water Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of faith and inward cleansing, recognizing Christ's sacrifice and receiving atonement through faith in His blood (Acts 2:37–38; I Peter 3:20–21).

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is God's empowering gift to believers, evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4).

Sanctification

Sanctification is a progressive work of grace that begins at salvation and continues throughout the believer's life (I Thessalonians 3:13; Philippians 3:12–14).

Divine Healing

Healing is provided through Christ's atonement and is available for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs through prayer and faith. We encourage seeking medical attention alongside faith (James 5:14–20; I Peter 2:24).

Christ's Return

Jesus will return for His church. The dead in Christ will rise first, then living believers will be caught up to meet Him. He will return as King of kings to reign (Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 20:6).

Eternal Destiny

Those who die without Christ face eternal separation from God in the lake of fire. Believers enjoy eternal life in God's presence (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20).

Communion

We partake of the Lord's Supper to remember Christ's death. The bread represents His body and the cup represents the New Covenant in His blood (I Corinthians 11:23–31).

Laying on of Hands

The laying on of hands transmits anointing and blessing, used for healing, receiving the Holy Spirit, dedication, conferring office, and ordination (Mark 10:13–16; Acts 8:16–18; I Timothy 4:14).
